I’m a firm believer in keeping things simple. In our crazy busy hectic lives, when simple little things that actually work, come a long, we have to grab them by the horns!
Here is a LITTLE recipe, which is so simple, it is quite unbelievable! My husband actually asked me a couple of times: “Are sure there is only one ingredient in this delicious ice-cream?” He couldn’t believe it either!!
So here you go – here is a “One ingredient ice-cream” for the win!
What you will need:
- Chopped frozen bananas
- Blender
Taa-daa and that’s it!!
Method:
- Chop bananas, and put in the freezer over night
- The next day (or once bananas are frozen), place frozen bananas into blender
- Blend for 3 to 5 minutes, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides.
- Keep on blending until the bananas turn to a thick ice-cream.
And presto, you have delicious banana ice-cream.
If you want to fancy it up a little you could add: honey, nuts, peanut butter, nutella, other fruit, or ice-cream sauces and of course sprinkles.
Happy mommy, happy kiddies – healthy easy ice-cream!!
